RJ Young is very much on the Marvin Harrison Jr. hype train after the Ohio State wide receiver turned in another terrific showing.
Harrison and the Buckeyes defeated Wisconsin 24-10 on Saturday. As usual, Harrison was in the middle of things, making 6 catches for 123 yards and 2 touchdowns. He now has 889 yards and 8 touchdowns on 48 receptions and has extended his 100-plus yard streak to 4 games.
“Marvin Harrison Jr. is the best player in college football. I think he’s going to win the Biletnikoff Award. I think he’s going to be Heisman finalist, if not have an outside chance to win the Heisman Trophy with a win against Michigan, but that’s a big ‘if’.”
Harrison is considered a consensus Top 5 pick and certainly won’t need to wait to hear his name called this spring in the NFL Draft. Before that, he and the Buckeyes have plenty of work to do as they are in the final third of their regular season slate. Next up is a trip to Rutgers for a noon ET kickoff on Nov. 4.
