Report: Alabama poaching Penn State assistant coach
By Kevin Duffey

Penn State is set to lose another assistant coach this offseason.
Per FootballScoop, Nittany Lions WR coach Josh Gattis is leaving for Alabama to join Nick Saban’s staff. Gattis is expected to become the co-OC for the Tide. Saban also recently promoted WRs coach Mike Locksley to OC, too.
With Gattis leaving, it marks the third assistant to leave this offseason for Penn State. OC Joe Moorhead and offensive assistant Charles Huff both left for Mississippi State.
Gattis has coached the WRs all four years of his career at Penn State, and he’s a great recruiter and developer on the field. Saban has shaken up his staff this offseason in search of better recruiters, and Gattis certainly fits that mold.
