According to a report by FootballScoop, Jim Harbaugh and Michigan are hiring Minnesota’s OL and running game coordinator Ed Warinner.

Prior to landing at Minnesota, Warinner, of course, coached the OL and coordinated the offense at Ohio State under Urban Meyer from 2012-2016. He became the co-coordinator with Tim Beck in 2015 before leaving the Buckeyes in 2016.

ESPN’s Adam Rittenberg reported that Warinner’s role is yet to be determined. Michigan’s top 2017 offensive analyst Scott Turner left earlier this month to join the Carolina Panthers as a QB coach.

Michigan has not made any formal announcements at this time.
