Nebraska lands commitment from elite 4-star S Cam’ron Jones out of Texas

Since Nebraska hired Scott Frost as coach, their recruiting class has taken a big jump in the national rankings.
On Saturday night, the Cornhuskers added another big piece to Frost’s first Nebraska class, picking up a commitment from a 4-star safety out of Texas.
As you can see in the video below, Mansfield S Cam’ron Jones announced he would be heading to Lincoln in 2018:

According to 247Sports, Jones is the No. 23 safety in the class of 2018 and the No. 36 overall recruit from the state of Texas.
Nebraska’s 2018 class now has 20 members, and Jones is the third-highest rated player in the group. The Huskers’ class ranks No. 22 in the country and No. 4 in the Big Ten, per 247Sports.
