This isn’t the start Scott Frost envisioned when he was hired on by his alma mater last month.

Following a rigorous offseason workout led by Nebraska head strength and conditioning coach Zach Duval, wide receiver Tyjon Lindsey and defensive lineman Dylan Owen were sent to the hospital after suffering from the effects known as rhabdomyolysis. You may recall, a similar incident occurred last season at Oregon under former Duck coach Willie Taggart.

Both players are out of the hospital and have already returned to the team.

Following that incident, Frost issued the following statement. The statement was posted by Sam McKewon of Omaha World-Herald.
