Joe Burrow answered a question that fans of LSU and Ohio State have been arguing about since his college days.

Burrow was asked about Ohio State claiming him and had quite the answer. Burrow said that he went to school at Ohio State, but played football at LSU.

Fans of both schools have been debating this for a long time.

“I don’t know, you’ll have to ask them,” said Burrow. “I always say that I went to school at Ohio State and played football at LSU.”

Burrow did see the field at Ohio State, appearing in 10 games for the Buckeyes from 2015-2017. However, he played in 28 games for the Tigers.

While in Baton Rouge, Burrow led LSU to a national championship win during his final season in 2019. The Tigers beat Clemson in the final game 42-25 to take home the crown.

The No. 1 pick of the 2020 NFL Draft, Burrow is in his fourth professional season. Burrow’s Cincinnati Bengals face the Houston Texans on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET on CBS.
