Scott Frost fever: Nebraska sells nearly 60,000 spring game tickets in one day

New Nebraska coach Scott Frost will make his debut at the Cornhuskers’ spring game on April 21, and it’s going to be a popular event.
In fact, it may sell out before all is said and done, if Tuesday’s inaugural ticket sale numbers are any indication.
According to the Nebraska ticket office, nearly 60,000 tickets were sold in 6.5 hours on Tuesday:

A minimum of 10,000 tickets will be available for tomorrow’s public on sale at 10 a.m.

Frost, a former Nebraska quarterback, was a very popular hire and has incited a lot of excitement in the fanbase, which has fallen on hard times lately.
He has a lot of work to do to get the Huskers to the top of the Big Ten, but he’ll be a hero if he does.
