College basketball AP Top 25: 3 B1G teams crack poll to tip off Week 2

The first college basketball AP Top 25 poll of the regular season is here! Or at least the first after the start of game action.
A total of 3 B1G programs cracked the top 25 this week, with Wisconsin and Michigan also receiving votes.
Purdue is the highest-ranked team in the latest poll at No. 2 after blowout wins over Samford and Morehead State. Zach Edey, as expected, has been his dominant self. The Boilermakers face their first true test of the season tonight against Xavier in the Gavitt Tipoff Games.
Michigan State and Illinois also cracked the poll at No. 18 and No. 23, respectively. The Spartans fell to the surprise team of the season thus far, No. 24 James Madison. Illinois, on the other hand, scored a pair of easy wins over Eastern Illinois and Oakland.
