Kirk Herbstreit named a pair of Michigan assistants to his list of top coaches for Week 11 on Monday evening.

Michigan’s Sherrone Moore and Ben Herbert made the cut at No. 2 on Herbstreit’s list this week. Only UCF’s Gus Malzahn performed better in Week 11, per Herbstreit.

Here’s his full list of top-performing coaches from this weekend:

Moore filled in as Michigan’s acting head coach on Saturday as Jim Harbaugh served the first game of his suspension from the Big Ten. The Wolverines defeated Penn State 24-15 behind a dominant performance by their running game. Blake Corum and Donovan Edwards combined for 3 rushing touchdowns and each amassed over 5 yards per carry in the win.

Herbert is Michigan’s associate head coach and director of strength and conditioning. This is his sixth season at Michigan.

Michigan is now 10-0 on the season and is one of the favorites to reach the College Football Playoff again this season. The Wolverines expect to learn on Friday whether or not Harbaugh will have to serve the full three-game suspension from the Big Ten.

Michigan will face Maryland on the road in Week 12.
