Ryan Day believes that Lathan Ransom will be back sometime this season, but not in time for the Michigan game.
Ransom was injured in the Week 9 contest with Wisconsin. Ransom has not played since and accounted for 34 total tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, 1 interception, and 1 forced fumble.
Not having a veteran presence on defense will hurt the Buckeyes, especially in a big game like Michigan. Luckily, there is still a shot at him coming back at some point during the season.
Day said he thinks it’s possible safety Lathan Ransom can return at some point this season but doesn’t think it’ll be in the next two weeks. So it’s highly unlikely he’ll be ready for Michigan.
