Michigan State is sticking by its man.
The school has approved Mark Dantonio’s annual contract extension on Friday. After signing a new six-year deal in 2016, Dantonio is given an annual one-year extension that is set to roll over each season. The school’s board of trustees simply has to approve the extension each season.
The Spartans went 10-3 overall in 2017 with a 7-2 Big Ten record.
