Jim Harbaugh is once again not with Michigan for Saturday’s game. This time, the Wolverines will ace Maryland on the road as the team looks to stay undefeated in Week 12.
Ahead of the game, the FOX broadcast touched on the atmosphere surrounding the team on the road. Despite everything that has occurred in recent days, the Wolverines still seem focused.
“What’s crazy is this team seems as close as ever,” said FOX’s Jenny Taft. She also revealed Jim Harbaugh’s final message to the team per Junior Colson.
“Coach Harbaugh addressed the team for the final time last night at the team hotel,” Taft reported. “He is telling his guys keep your focus and make sure you have your best game of football this week.
“And while Harbaugh is away at the hotel, coach Locksley admitted to me today, we have nothing to lose.”

Last week, Michigan beat Penn State without Harbaugh, but the team was hoping to get the head coach back for Maryland and Ohio State. On Thursday, it was announced the Wolverines were accepting Harbaugh’s original suspension, meaning he will miss Week 12 and The Game next weekend.
