Michigan and Maryland are trading major blows in the third quarter, and the Terrapins are giving the No. 3 team in the country all they can handle in Week 12.

Coming out of halftime, Maryland was able to get a stop and cut Michigan’s lead to 23-17. The Terrapins even had a chance to score or take the lead after another stop and getting the ball back down 6 points.

However, the Wolverine defense stood tall with Mike Sainristil picking off Taulia Tagovailoa in another turnover by the Terps. The Wolverine offense took over and put together a crucial scoring drive.

That drive included a 4th-down conversion by QB JJ McCarthy, but the scoring play was all Morgan. The end-around went for 13 yards and gave the Wolverines a 29-17 lead after missing the 2-point conversion.

However, despite Michigan grabbing the momentum, Tagovailoa and the Terps responded. The QB hooked up with a key pass to Kaden Prather to get Maryland down on the goal line.

Billy Edwards Jr. capped the drive with a short touchdown run, and it is suddenly 29-24 in favor of Michigan as the fourth quarter gets ready to ramp up. Tune in to FOX to catch the dramatic conclusion.
