Thanksgiving is a time when we can all get together and talk about food and family. For some, it’s also a time to talk about some interesting food takes.

Some of the Big Ten’s biggest stars shared some of their most controversial food takes for the holiday.

Blake Corum kicked things off with a hot one. Corum said that he isn’t too big on turkey, and is more of a ham person.

“I’m not too big on turkey, you know? But I love a good ham.” said Corum.

Nebraska’s Jeff Sims thinks macaroni should be the main dish.  Braelon Allen revealed that he hates stuffing.

One of the more interesting takes came from Taulia Tagovailoa. The Maryland quarterback had barbeque at his Thanksgivings growing up.

“On Thanksgiving people think like turkey, ham, stuff like that,” said Tagovailoa. “For me growing up it was more so like barbeque.”

Lastly, Luke Reimer agreed with Corum that ham is the way to go.

“I like ham on Thanksgiving. I’m not a big turkey guy,” said Reimer. “It’s a little dry for me. I’ve tried it a bunch of different ways.”
