Torrance Gibson is being given another chance to show what he can do on the football field.
The Edmonton Eskimos of the Canadian Football League announced the signing for the former Ohio State signee Friday.
The former five-star recruit never played for Ohio State after he was suspended by the school a year into time in Columbus. He signed with the program in the 2015 recruiting cycle over offers from nearly every other program in the country. Signed as an athlete, Gibson was set to play receiver for the Ohio State before he left the program.
Gibson left Ohio State before ever coming off of suspension. He resurfaced at Cincinnati before finishing his career at the junior college level.
