Jim Harbaugh shared a parting message with his Michigan players prior to The Game against Ohio State.

“You guys know I love analogies. Today’s game doesn’t need one. You are the analogy,” Harbaugh said, according to FOX’s Jenny Taft. “When I think of what a football team should embody, I think of you guys. … After today, people are gonna say, ‘Be like the team from 2023.'”

Taft discussed meeting with Harbaugh in the days leading up to the contest and provided insight into the Wolverines head coach’s mindset.

“It just doesn’t seem different. He was confident, he was calm, and really he’s just so proud of the way his guys have blocked out all the outside noise and been prepared for today’s matchup,” Taft said.

Harbaugh, of course, won’t be on the sideline as he serves the final game of a 3-game suspension following the B1G’s investigation into the program around alleged sign-stealing. Offensive coordinator Sherrone Moore has been serving as acting head coach.

Kickoff from the Big House is shortly after noon ET on FOX.
