The Buckeyes had a verbal commitment from Scott since July.
A host of teams from around the country have sent Scott offers including B1G teams like Michigan, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Michigan State, Nebraska, Penn State, Rutgers, and Wisconsin.
The loss of Scott means that Ohio State now has 3 5-star commits in receiver Jeremiah Smith, edge rusher Eddrick Houston, and wideout Mylan Graham. Scott is the Hurricanes 1st 5-star commit via the 2024 class.
This is a tough loss for Ohio State’s 2024 class.
