Tony Petitti roasted for trophy presentation after Michigan’s B1G title win

Tony Petitti is not going to be high on the Christmas card list for many Michigan fans this season. In fact, he was criticized heavily after the B1G Championship Game for his performance at the trophy presentation.

For starters, head coach Jim Harbaugh requested the trophy be presented to injured offensive lineman Zak Zinter. Petitti obliged and awarded the trophy to Zinter, but many fans noted the B1G commissioner did not say any words at the time of the presentation.

Many fans also felt his presence at the presentation was unnecessarily brief. That could be nitpicking the situation, but there was undoubtedly some tension between Petitti and Harbaugh after the commissioner suspended the head coach for 3 games to end the regular season.
