Caitlin Clark in class all by herself with latest milestone

Caitlin Clark is officially in a class all by herself in college basketball.
The Iowa star became the first player in men’s or women’s basketball to eclipse 3,000 points, 750 rebounds, and 750 assists. Clark entered the national spotlight during the 2022-23 season where she averaged 27.8 points and led the Hawkeyes to a national title win over LSU.

Clark eclipsed the 3,000 point mark by hitting a deep three in the 3rd quarter against Iowa State.

The Iowa star leads the nation in points per game, averaging 29.0 points per game. Clark is also averaging 7.9 assists and 6.4 rebounds per game for the first-place Hawkeyes.
Clark already holds several Hawkeyes’ records. The guard is the all-time scoring leader for Iowa, and also holds the school’s all-time 3-point record and is closing in on Samantha Logic’s all-time assists record.
Clark has the No. 4 Hawkeyes sitting at 9-1 and in 1st place in the Big 12. The next test for the Hawkeyes will be against the Wisconsin Badgers in Madison on Sunday, December 10.
