Indiana basketball faces another tough challenge Saturday as No. 2 Kansas travels Assembly Hall looking to earn its 10th win of the season.

Just one slight hitch: The injury bug. According to Indiana’s injury report released Saturday morning, 4 players are questionable for the matchup: Xavier Johnson, Kel’el Ware, CJ Gunn and Malik Reneau. Three of these players – excluding Gunn – are Indiana’s top scorers this season, all sitting at over 10 PPG.

Some players seem to be in better shape than others. Outside reports have trinkled in saying Johnson will indeed miss Saturday’s game despite being listed questionable. He’s missed the past 3 games for Indiana.
Indiana is expected to be without starting point guard Xavier Johnson (foot) for the fourth consecutive game today, source told @TheMessenger.

The Hoosiers’ size makes this an interesting matchup for the Jayhawks, which is why Renau and Ware especially important for Saturday’s matchup. Ware, as expected by many, is already looking like one of the better frontcourt players in the conference and would be a key asset against Kansas center Hunter Dickinson.
