Moment of the night: Ryan Shazier announces Pittsburgh Steelers’ first-round pick

When former Ohio State LB Ryan Shazier was injured against the Cincinnati Bengals last season, it was uncertain if he’d ever walk again.

However, he has beaten expectations, and on Thursday night, the former Buckeye announced the Pittsburgh Steelers’ first-round pick at the 2018 NFL Draft.

As you can see in the video below, Shazier made his way out of the tunnel in Dallas and walked slowly, but steadily, to the podium to announce the pick:

Shazier won’t play in 2018, but he still hopes to return to the field again. Based on the video above, he still has a long way to go.

However, with how far he’s already come, doubt him at your own peril.
