Alabama is taking all the necessary precautions for Michigan, even if that means making absolutely sure their signs aren’t stolen.

Isaiah Bond went to the podium on Thursday’s Rose Bowl presser to talk about the upcoming matchup against No. 1. According to Bond, Alabama’s coaches have asked the players not to look at film on their at-home tablets out of precaution. The Tide are reportedly only allowed to watch film in groups.

“The app we record film off…I guess they were looking at other people’s play calls, hand signals stuff like that.” said Bond.

Jim Harbaugh was forced to sit out the final 3 games of the regular season due to his alleged role in the scandal. The Wolverines won all of those games without him on the sidelines and took home the Big Ten title after beating Iowa.

Bond has stepped into a bigger role on offense compared to last year. He has a career high 621 receiving yards and 4 touchdowns heading into the Rose Bowl.

Kickoff from Pasadena will be on New Year’s Day at 5 p.m. ET on ESPN.
