Troy Aikman did not leave fans wondering about his thoughts on Jim Harbaugh.

During Saturday’s ESPN on ABC broadcast of the NFL playoffs, Harbaugh was spotted in the stands. He’s on hand in Baltimore to support his brother, John, and the Ravens in the AFC playoff matchup with the Houston Texans.

“There’s Jim, sweating through this on a cold day in Baltimore. In-between interviews, I guess,” said Joe Buck with a chuckle.

Aikman followed up that comment with a brief pitch for Harbaugh to return to the NFL heading into next season. He referenced Harbaugh winning everywhere he’s been, including all the way back at the University of San Diego.

“I hope we see him in the NFL next year. He’s going to make someone a heckuva a football coach,” explained Aikman. “He’s won everywhere he’s been, beginning when he began his coaching career at the University of San Diego. But congratulations to him on his national championship.”

At this point, Harbaugh remains undecided on his coaching future, but his dance with the NFL reportedly includes a second interview upcoming with the Atlanta Falcons. The Los Angeles Chargers remain another vacancy to watch in regard to Harbaugh while the Las Vegas Raiders have removed the interim tag for head coach Antonio Pierce.
