Maryland lineman hospitalized following team workout

Scary situation to report from Maryland as offensive lineman Jordan McNair had to be hospitalized following a team workout. He is believed to be in critical condition but is stable according to the Baltimore Sun.
Maryland has confirmed the news and issued the following statement from head coach DJ Durkin on the situation:
“Jordan’s an outstanding young man and a beloved member of our Maryland football family. Our entire program is supporting Jordan and his family during this time. We’re continuing to keep Jordan in our thoughts and prayers.”
McNair has yet to suit up and play for the program after redshirting his first year on campus. He signed with the program after being ranked as a four-star prospect coming out of high school.
