Iowa is gearing up to face Illinois at home on Sunday afternoon, and the Hawkeyes have made a new addition to the court at Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
Iowa has placed a decal reading “22 Clark” on the spot where Caitlin Clark broke the all-time NCAA women’s basketball scoring record earlier this month. Sunday’s game against the Illini marks Iowa’s first home game since Clark broke the record in a 49-point performance vs. Michigan.
Here’s a look at the new spot on the court:

Clark may not be done breaking records this season, either. Clark is now just 75 points away from passing former LSU legend Pete Maravich for the most points in NCAA basketball history, men’s or women’s.
So far this season, Clark is averaging 32.4 points, 7 rebounds and 8.5 assists per game. Clark is also shooting 39% from 3-point range on a volume of more than 13 attempts per game.
Clark and the Hawkeyes will tip-off at 12 p.m. CT on Sunday afternoon vs. Illinois.
