Maryland OL Jordan McNair passes away following recent post-workout hospitalization

Maryland OL Jordan McNair was hospitalized following a recent workout, and had to undergo a liver transplant as he battled for his life.
Sadly, the sophomore has now passed away, at the young age of 19, following complications from the medical event.
As you can see below, McNair’s high school coach confirmed the young player’s passing via Twitter:

Shortly thereafter, Maryland issued a statement on McNair’s passing:
Today the Maryland family mourns the passing of Jordan McNair.

Teammates, including current NFL WR D.J. Moore, offered their condolences to McNair’s family in this difficult time:

McNair was a 4-star recruit in the 2017 class. The 247Sports composite had him rated as the No. 29 offensive tackle and the No. 7 overall recruit from the state of Maryland.
A 2012 graduate of the University of Missouri, Adam is the news editor across all Saturday Football brands.
