Published:
Ohio State DB Marcus Hooker has yet to play a game for the Buckeyes, but when he arrives on campus this summer, the 2018 signee will already be in the doghouse.
That’s because, on Wednesday, it was reported that the incoming freshman was arrested for DUI in Pennsylvania.
According to a report from NCNewsOnline.com, Hooker was arrested on a number of offenses:
Marcus James Hooker, 18, of New Castle, by Neshannock Township police with driving under the influence, disregarding traffic lane, careless driving, no rear lights and purchase of alcoholic beverage by a minor.
Hooker was a 3-star 2018 signee, per the 247Sports composite, and is a native of New Castle, Pennsylvania, where the arrest took place.
What sort of punishment he receives from Ohio State remains to be seen, but coach Urban Meyer won’t be happy with Wednesday’s news.
