You can add another name to Michigan’s commitment list for the 2019 recruiting cycle as Washington, D.C. native Quinten Johnson announced his pledge to join Jim Harbaugh’s program at The Opening Finals down in Arlington, Texas.
Johnson, a three-star recruit, is rated as the No. 37 safety in the nation and D.C.’s No. 4 overall prospect according to 247Sports Composite Rankings. While his ranking may not blow you away, he did pick Michigan over Alabama and Penn State.
Following this announcement, the Wolverines now hold 19 commitments for 2019 and maintain the Big Ten’s top-ranked recruiting class for the cycle.
