WATCH: Iowa utilizing first robotic quarterback/punting machine

The Iowa Hawkeyes are on the forefront of technological advances when it comes to their practice facilities, and this weekend, they’re showing off their newest toy.

The Hawkeyes are using a technology called “Seeker,” which is the first robotic quarterback, and it can also handle punting and kicking drills, too.

As you can see in the video below, Seeker is an interesting machine that can create perfect punting reps for returners every time:

Cool new technology, or harrowing harbinger of our impending doom at the hands of our robot overlords? You decide.
