A five-star receiver who committed to Ohio State earlier this year is reassuring Buckeye fans that he’s still coming to Columbus in 2019, despite the recent termination of wide receivers coach and recruiting coordinator Zach Smith.
Shortly after Ohio State announced Smith was fired due to reports of two separate alleged domestic violence claims, Wilson tweeted out “I’m SOLID. Please stop asking.”
Wilson was recruited heavily by Smith and Ryan Day, according to 247Sports.

Wilson is ranked as the No. 14 overall prospect in the 2019 recruiting class, the No. 2 wide receiver and the top player out of Texas. He held offers from 33 programs, including six B1G schools.
For right now, Wilson appears to be a firm commitment to the Buckeyes and still has plans to be in Columbus in 2019.
