According to The Mighty 1630 KCJJ, Iowa OL Tristan Wirfs was arrested in Iowa City.

Per the report, Iowa City Police records show that Wirfs was stopped about 1:45 a.m. Sunday morning. He was then booked into the Johnson County Jail on a charge of first offense operating while under the influence.

Wirfs, from Mount Vernon, Iowa, is a 6-foot-5, 320-pound rising sophomore who played in 10 games as a true freshman last year, including starting the final eight at tackle. In fact, he was the first true freshman to start at either offensive tackle position in the Kirk Ferentz era. Wirfs was an honorable mention Big Ten Conference All-Freshman team by BTN.com.
