The Big Ten’s Week 2 is in the books, and the conference will be looking to have a better week in Week 3.

Michigan was dominated at home by Texas and Iowa lost at home to Iowa State in the final seconds. Penn State was in a nail-biter against Bowling Green, while Oregon struggled again for the second consecutive week before beating Boise State, 37-34.

With the College Football Playoff expanding to 12 teams, the conference figures to be right there with the SEC when it comes to number of teams making the playoffs.

ESPN released their SP+ rankings Sunday afternoon, and it featured 3 B1G teams in the top 10. Below is how ESPN describes the SP+ rankings on its website for those who aren’t familiar.
