CJ Stroud and Stefon Diggs played their collegiate careers in the B1G. Stroud was a star at Ohio State, while Diggs a star receiver at Maryland. The two joined forces this off-season with the Houston Texans, and they showed the NFL world what they are capable of on Sunday.

Stroud threw for 234 yards and 2 touchdowns, with both of those touchdowns going to Stefon Diggs.

Stroud started the final 2 years of his career at Ohio State, finishing with 8,123 yards, 85 touchdowns and only 12 interceptions. Those numbers helped make him the No. 2 pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.

He burst onto the scene last year as a rookie. He put together one of the most impressive rookie seasons ever for a quarterback position, helping the Texans make the Divisional Round of the playoffs.

Last year, Diggs had another stellar season for the Buffalo Bills, finishing with 107 catches for 1,103 yards and 8 touchdowns. However, he wasn’t nearly as involved in the offense at the end of the season, and he was traded to the Texans in the off-season.

Houston is looked at as one of the toughest challenges for the Kansas City Chiefs during their run for a 3-peat, and a big reason why is the former Buckeye and Terrapin teaming up together.
