Emeka Egbuka and the Ohio State offense got off to a slow start on Saturday against Iowa, but the Buckeyes got things rolling in the third quarter.
One of the biggest reasons for this explosion is because of the play of Egbuka. He has caught 2 touchdowns on Saturday, and now has 4 scores in the last 3 weeks.

He also got the scoring going with the lone first-half touchdown.

Jeremiah Smith has gotten a ton of the talk this year, as the freshman has been phenomenal to start his collegiate career. He has also scored a touchdown against the Hawkeyes.
However, Egbuka is reminding the rest of the country that he is a major player in what is arguably the best receiving duo in all of college football.
The offense took a little while to get going, but the defense has been terrific all day. Ohio State entered the fourth quarter with a 28-0 lead over the Hawkeyes. Through the first 19 quarters of the 2024 season, the Buckeyes have given up only 3 touchdowns.
