Will Howard and Ohio State took care of Iowa in Week 6, beating the Hawkeyes 35-7. Howard threw for 4 touchdowns and ran for a 5th as his team remained perfect on the 2024 season.

Next up for the Buckeyes, though, is their toughest test yet: a trip to Oregon as No. 2 visits No. 3. Both teams sit at 5-0 (2-0 B1G) and will be looking to remain at the top of the conference standings.

“I know Coach Lanning is a good coach and he’s going to have them ready, so I’m excited to get home now and and start watching some film and get ready for these guys,” Howard said after Saturday’s win.

Howard mentioned that the Buckeyes have focused on improving on a weekly basis to prepare for the Ducks, in what will be one of the most pivotal games on the college football calendar.

“I think confidence-wise we feel great,” he said. “We’ve continued to iron things out and get better every single week … I think we’ve learned a lot about ourselves and about this team.”

The two programs last met in 2021, a 35-28 Ducks win. It was their first all-time win over the Buckeyes in 10 tries. For this matchup, Ohio State heads out west as a 4-point road favorite per bet365, and fans can use Tradition’s sports betting apps in Ohio to get in on the action.

Kickoff from Eugene is set for 7:30 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock.
