Dax Hill, a former Michigan defensive back and current Cincinnati Bengal, learned Monday morning that he suffered a torn ACL during Week 5’s loss to the Baltimore Ravens. Unfortunately, Hill will miss the remainder of the 2024-25 season.
Hill is a solid player for the Bengals secondary, especially so after moving to corner from safety. He’s totaled 20 tackles with 2 pass deflections this season and his loss is a brutal one for a Bengals squad that has had its fair share of injuries this season.
The #Bengals defense just suffered another loss: Sources say starting CB Dax Hill is feared to have torn his ACL and would be out for the season.

This is Hill’s 3rd year in the league after being selected No. 31 overall in 2021 by Cincinnati. He was named Michigan’s defensive rookie of the year in 2019 and started 23 games across his time in Ann Arbor. He recovered 3 fumbles, totaled 3 interceptions and 17 pass breakups and finished with 145 tackles by the time his college career was up.
He’s started fast in the NFL and currently sits at 2 interceptions, 13 pass deflections and 145 tackles through 37 NFL appearances.
