The most notable matchup of the week in the conference sees Wisconsin hosting Penn State in the primetime NBC slot, and the oddsmakers are giving the Nittany Lions a touchdown in Camp Randall.
Ohio State and Oregon are both 20+ point favorites at home despite facing teams with combined records of 11-3, although that likely is showing respect to how dominant each side has been thus far in Big Ten competition.
USC and Iowa are the only other double-digit favorites, as they host Rutgers and Northwestern respectively and are expected to each win by around two touchdowns.
Three other Big Ten matchups are supposed to be tightly contested, with Michigan, Minnesota and Indiana all being favored by less than a touchdown against Michigan State, Maryland and Washington respectively. The Hoosiers’ line is factoring in the absence of starting quarterback Kurtis Rourke, who will miss some time due to a thumb injury he picked up in the win over Nebraska this past weekend.
