Marvin Harrison Jr. is following in the footsteps of his Hall of Fame father in the NFL, looking to make the same impact the older Harrison did while forming a fearsome connection with Peyton Manning for over a decade.

The Arizona Cardinals’ 4th overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft entered Week 8’s game against the Miami Dolphins with 20 catches for 300 yards and 4 touchdowns. After a slow past few weeks, he has looked good against the Dolphins, recording 4 catches for 71 yards and a TD through 3 quarters despite the Cardinals trailing.

The former Ohio State star found the end zone with 2 minutes remaining in the third, laying out near the right side of the end zone to pull in a 25-yard pass from Kyler Murray.

Here’s video of the play:

Murray-to-Harrison hasn’t exactly looked like prime Manning-Harrison thus far in 2024, but plays like that will provide some hope to downtrodden Cardinals fans.

Meanwhile, Harrison and the Cardinals came in to Sunday’s game looking to gather a little momentum heading into the second half of the season. After losing to the Buffalo Bills to open the season, they beat the Los Angeles Rams, but lost back-to-back games against the Detroit Lions and Washington Commanders. They then went win-loss-win against the San Franciso 49ers, Green Bay Packers, and Los Angeles Chargers.
