ESPN’s FPI is weighing in on one of the more interesting B1G games in Week 10 in Seattle as the USC Trojans and the Washington Huskies square off. They used to be Pac-12 rivals, but now, the rivalry will continue in the B1G as both teams are in their first year in the conference.

Naturally, ESPN’s Football Power Index is weighing in with what it thinks will happen. The FPI is giving the Trojans a 67.9% chance to win this game. That means the FPI doesn’t think the Huskies have much of a chance to win at only 32.1% probability.

The former Pac-12 and now current B1G rivals will collide in a 7:30 p.m. ET/4:30 pm PT kickoff from Husky Stadium with the game aired on the Big Ten Network.

The Trojans were able to get back on the winning track last week, as they defeated Rutgers by a score of 42-20. In the previous three losses, USC had lost by a combined 11 points.

Miller Moss in his first season as the Trojans starter has been solid. He threw for 308 yards and 2 touchdowns against Rutgers. On the season, he has thrown for 2,262 yards, 16 touchdowns and 6 interceptions. Running back Woody Marks had 15 carries for 94 yards and 3 touchdowns.

The Huskies have lost their last 2 games, with their most recent loss being a 31-17 loss to the Indiana Hoosiers on Saturday. The game got off to a bad start for the Huskies with quarterback Will Rogers throwing an interception that D’Angelo Ponds took back for a 67-yard touchdown.

Rogers finished the game with 202 yards and 2 interceptions. If there is one thing going for the Huskies, they are 2-o at home in B1G play, and 0-3 on the road. With this game being at Washington, the Huskies figure to have a much better chance.

These 2 teams played last year, with the Huskies winning a 52-42 shootout in Los Angeles. The quarterbacks in that game were Michael Penix Jr. and Caleb Williams, both guys who went in the top 8 of the 2024 NFL Draft. Neither offense is as explosive as they were last year, so don’t expect quite as many points.
