There’s no doubt that Cleveland Brown Jabrill Peppers can make big plays on the field. But the former Michigan all-star is proving he can have an impact off the field, too.

Monday morning, Peppers tweeted out that he’ll be giving away backpacks for school-aged children in the Cleveland area later this week. He’s working in conjunction with Mayor Ted Green.

Children should be between the ages of 5 and 17 and must be accompanied by an adult.

As a former star with the Wolverines, getting love in Cleveland — or anywhere in Ohio really — would be tough. But helping out in the community is something everyone can agree on.

Last season, Peppers totaled 58 tackles and had an interception for the Browns. He’s entering his second season in the NFL.
