Caleb Williams will be back at the Los Angeles Coliseum.

USC announced Monday that the Trojans are welcoming back their most recent Heisman Trophy winner for the Nov. 30 rivalry clash with Notre Dame.

USC is 5-5 on the season, fighting to secure bowl eligibility. The Irish will learn their new College Football Playoff ranking on Tuesday evening. They’re currently No. 6 in the AP Top 25 with a 9-1 record.

Notre Dame is a fitting game for Williams to make his return. He led the Trojans to a 38-27 victory to close out the regular season. Williams was 18-of-22 passing for 232 yards and 1 touchdown passing in the game, adding 9 rushes for 35 yards.

Williams is now in his NFL rookie season. Like all rookies, Williams has been through some ups and downs on the season. Not all of Chicago’s struggles are on him, though. This past Sunday, Williams had the Bears in position to beat Green Bay, but the potential game-winning field goal was blocked by the Packers in heartbreaking fashion.

Williams, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, is 201-of-325 passing for 2,016 yards, 9 touchdowns and 5 interceptions. He has also logged 49 carries for 306 rushing yards.
