Navy revealed its threads ahead of the Dec. 14 rivalry game matchup against Army, one that is even more highly anticipated than usual with the way both teams are performing this season.
Navy has not fared as well as its counterpart here, but Army has certainly caught a wealth of national attention with the fact the team is now ranked at No. 18 in the nation.
Here’s a look at the uniforms the Midshipmen will be wearing for the occasion, which pay tribute to the Jolly Rogers fighting squadron, which came to be because of the flag that was flown by pirates circa the 18th century.

Army remains undefeated so far this season with a perfect 9-0 record, and this also marks the first time since 2019 in this matchup that either of the two teams has been ranked in the AP Top 25 Poll. It’s just a further reflection of the way college football has evolved and how different things are in the modern era of the sport.
With this, the Black Knights remain the top team in the American Athletic Conference, most recently defeating the UNT Mean Green, 14-3 on the road.
Navy started the season 6-0, but has dropped 3 of its last 4, falling to 7-3 overall. Tulane defeated the Midshipmen 35-0 in Week 12.
