Davison Igbinosun obliterated by social media for multiple flags early against IU

Davison Igbinosun has not gotten off to a great start in Ohio State’s top-5 matchup against Indiana on Saturday. The starting defensive back got called for 2 pass interference penalties on Indiana’s opening drive.
The 2nd of those PI penalties resulted in the Hoosiers scoring on the next play. As a result, the Hoosiers went up 7-0 after scoring the game’s first points.
Igbinosun is now getting blasted on social media for his poor performance. Check out some of the reactions below:

Davison Igbinosun is so notorious for pass interference that he’s worn mitts at times in practice to prevent him from grabbing receivers. Didn’t work there. A pair of PI calls helped the Hoosiers go 70 yards in 11 plays, taking 6:12 off the clock. #iufb

You’re Ohio State. You have a massive NIL collective. You can recruit anyone in the country. You HAVE to have a better option on your roster than Davison Igbinosun. 18 penalties over the last two years. Either coach someone on the current roster or buy someone who is better.

Igbinosun has reportedly begun wearing mitts in practice so he so can’t grab receivers. The DB has now been called for 18 penalties over the last 2 seasons.
At the end of the 1st quarter, the Hoosiers were maintaining a 7-0 lead over the Buckeyes.
