TCU standout defender out for 2018 season

Ohio State’s Week 3 opponent has lost one of its top players.
The news out of Fort Worth, Texas, Wednesday night is that TCU has lost standout DT Ross Blacklock for the season due to a torn achilles.
Blacklock was a 4-star recruit in the class of 2016. As a redshirt freshman, he appeared in all 14 games for TCU, recording 27 total tackles, including 6.5 tackles for loss and two sacks. He was named co-Big 12 Defensive Freshman of the Year for the 2017 season.
Ohio State will face TCU at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas (home of the Dallas Cowboys) on Sept. 15. The game is set for an 8 p.m. ET kickoff on ABC.
