Aaron Bradshaw, Ohio State basketball;’s center, has been barred from team activities while the university investigates a possible domestic incident that took place at his off-campus apartment last week, according to the Columbus Dispatch.

The university released a statement about 2 hours before Friday night’s game started that read: “Aaron Bradshaw is not currently participating in team activities. The university is following its established process. Due to federal privacy laws, we cannot share further information at this time.”

After Friday’s game, when head coach Jake Diebler was asked 3 questions about Bradshaw’s status, he declined to comment beyond the statement that was released by the university. No charges have been filed against Bradshaw as of Nov. 25.

Because of the university’s ongoing investigation, there is no timeframe for Bradshaw’s possible return to the team or a final decision as the university conducts its process.

Bradshaw, who transferred to Ohio State for this season after spending his freshman year at Kentucky, last played against Evansville on Nov. 19. He was unavailable for last Friday night’s victory over Campbell.

The 7-footer is averaging 7.8 points and 4.8 rebounds this season for the Buckeyes after averaging 4.9 points and 3.3 rebounds per contest last season at Kentucky, where he started 10 of 26 games.

Ohio State will continue its season without Bradshaw on Monday night at home against Green Bay.
