Big Noon Kickoff, FOX’s weekly college football pregame show, is heading to Columbus, Ohio this week for The Game: Ohio State versus Michigan.
At-stake for the No. 2 Buckeyes is the chance to get a resume-boosting win ahead of the Big Ten title game and the College Football Playoff, while Michigan at this point is simply playing for pride and better placement in a non-CFP bowl game. The Wolverines have won three in a row in this series, giving them a 61-51 advantage all-time against Ohio State.
FOX aims to turn its pregame show for this regular-season finale into a real party, and on Wednesday revealed a musical guest for the festivities: Nate Smith.
Smith, 39, is from California. He moved to Nashville to pursue a country music career at age 23 and landed a record deal with Word Records and a publishing deal with Centricity Music to start out. His major label debut did not come until 2021 when he signed with Sony Music Nashville after going viral on TikTok for the song “Wildfire.”
