Indiana drops hype video for crucial Old Oaken Bucket showdown vs. Purdue

Indiana has its sights on even bigger things than a rivalry showdown with Purdue this season. But, in order to get there, the Hoosiers need to make sure they claim the Old Oaken Bucket on Saturday.

The paths for Purdue and Indiana could not be more different this year. The Boilermakers, mired in one of their worst seasons in program history, enter at 1-10 overall.

On the other side, Curt Cignetti has already led Indiana to the school’s first-ever 10-win season. And, at 10-1 overall, the Hoosiers should be in a “win-and-in” scenario for the College Football Playoff.

While the Playoff is down the road, the Old Oaken Bucket will be up for grabs on Saturday. The Hoosiers dropped their hype video for the rivalry Friday night, and it’s a perfect way to get the weekend rolling after the Thanksgiving holiday.

Indiana has found some tough sledding in the rivalry vs. Purdue with the Boilermakers winning 3 straight overall and 5 of the last 6. However, those games occurred pre-Cignetti, and he has shown his teams mean business.

We’ll see if Cignetti can punch his first rivalry victory Saturday night. Kickoff is set for 7 pm ET on FS1.
