There aren’t many people who are more plugged-in or knowledgeable about college football than The Athletic‘s Bruce Feldman.
Because Feldman is so up-to-date with the latest happenings in the sport and has an exceptionally deep knowledge of college football, he was invited to The Herd with Colin Cowherd to talk about the latest in the Urban Meyer investigation.
The college football expert had plenty to say on the situation, and believes that there’s an increasing likelihood that Meyer is on the sidelines for the Buckeyes this fall.
“There’s a lot of people who feel like there is an increasing chance that (Urban Meyer) is going to retain his job,” Feldman said. “A lot of people are going to say ‘did he do the right thing?’ Technically, he did”
Feldman also continued to say that people are going to wonder why Meyer kept Zach Smith, who was accused of domestic violence against his ex-wife, on the staff for so long.
“If he does keep his job, what was the reason he kept him on? And then what exactly was it that you determined that’s why you fired him,” Feldman said.
Feldman’s full conversation on The Herd can be seen in the video below.
