Ohio State fans are used to seeing these type of plays from J.T. Barrett.
The former Buckeyes QB is playing for the New Orleans Saints in preseason action with hopes of making the final roster. While that is yet to be determined, Barrett scored his first touchdown in the NFL against the Arizona Cardinals Friday night.
Barrett took the snap and dropped back in the pocket looking for his receivers. After avoiding the initial pressure, he took off and found a seam for an impressive 12-yard touchdown run.
The New Orleans Saints shared the video of Barrett’s touchdown:

Barrett is no stranger to using his legs as he racked up more than 3,000 yards rushing and 43 TDs on the ground during his college career. He also threw for more than 9,000 yards with the Buckeyes as one of the elite dual-threat QBs in the country.
The Saints are in a good spot at QB with starter Drew Brees currently entrenched there and Tom Savage also on the roster. Still, Barrett could play his way onto the team with more impressive plays like this one.
