WATCH: Purdue AD reveals awkward situation he was in when Jeff Brohm accepted the job offer

When it comes to head coaching jobs, many observers know that the position is vacant until pen hits paper and an agreement is signed. Purdue athletic director Mike Bobinski was determined to look for a coach until the job was filled.
When Jeff Brohm became the top choice to become the head Boilermaker, it wasn’t a sure thing he would take the job. So Bobinski continued talking to and interviewing candidates.
In fact, Bobinski was in an interview with another candidate when Brohm accepted Purdue’s offer. Bobinski shared how that all went down in an interview with WLFI’s Andrew Pogar.
